The role

Role purpose: Build and support internal analytics and automation tools that help teams make data‑driven decisions, track KPIs, and streamline operations. Own features end‑to‑end from problem to working solution.

Work setup: Remote; Full‑time, Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Product and solution design
  • Run discovery with internal users, clarify requirements, and plan iterative delivery
  • Turn business requests into clear technical tasks and simple roadmaps
  • Architecture/engineering
  • Design and develop Python services and internal apps
  • Build APIs and integrations; ensure code quality, security, and performance
  • Contribute to UI for internal tools and dashboards
  • Data/analytics/automation
  • Build analytics dashboards: tables, charts, KPI panels, filters
  • Ingest data from ERP/CRM/internal DBs; transform and validate data with pandas
  • Write and optimize SQL for reporting and metrics
  • Contribute to automation and selected AI/LLM initiatives
  • Stakeholder management
  • Work directly with business teams; demo results and collect feedback
  • Support rollouts, troubleshoot issues, and improve usability
  • Process and improvement
  • Participate in code reviews; follow standards and best practices
  • Maintain technical documentation and propose improvements
  • Tech environment
  • Core stack: Python 3.x; FastAPI/Flask/Django; pandas; Dash/Plotly/Streamlit
  • Infrastructure: PostgreSQL/MySQL; Docker; Git; CI/CD; logging/monitoring tools
  • Integrations: ERP/CRM systems and other internal/external REST APIs

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years as a Python developer building production applications or internal enterprise tools
  • Skills: pandas for tabular data; FastAPI/Flask/Django for APIs; Dash/Plotly/Streamlit for dashboards; Git and code review
  • Architecture and integrations: designing small services; integrating with ERP/CRM/external services; understanding client‑server and REST
  • Data and quality: strong SQL (SELECT, JOIN, aggregates, subqueries, basic optimization); testing, reliability, security basics, and observability
  • Communication: ability to explain technical topics simply; experience working with business stakeholders; English B2+ for docs and meetings

As a plus:

  • Domain knowledge: healthcare, automotive, education, fintech, or media
  • Practices: business analytics fundamentals, KPI design, process automation, performance tuning for data processing and SQL
  • Additional tools/certifications: Docker; experience rolling out internal apps; interest in LLMs and AI‑assisted workflows
